SEND
At Hilltop, our objective is to provide an education to all pupils, that is appropriate to their needs, maximises their educational development and enables them to make progress so that they:
- Achieve their best
- Become confident individuals living fulfilling lives
- Make a successful transition into the nest stage of their education
In this regard we will do our best to secure the necessary provision for any pupil who has a Special Educational Need and/or disability, within the limitations of our resources.
If you have any questions or concerns about their child’s SEND support, the class teacher is the first point of contact. Class teachers will share key information with parents/carers during termly SEND parent meetings but may request to meet at other points in the year also. There will be occasions when it is important for parents/carers to meet with a member of the inclusion team to discuss their child’s support in more detail. The inclusion team is made up of the following members of staff:
