Lodgehill 2025 - Year 4

Lodge Hill Residential 2025

To Parents of all Year 4 children

16th October 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to confirm the details of the year 4 residential trip to Lodge Hill which is situated near Pulborough, East Sussex.

Dates: Thursday 22nd May 2025 - Friday 23rd May 2025

In order to book this we would need to know the exact number of children who would like to go, as this has a direct link to the price we need to charge. At this point we believe that the total cost would be no more than £100.00 per child.

It is essential we pre book the rooms and the coach so at this time we are asking for a non-refundable deposit of £25 per child (payable on Schoolgateway) by Friday 06th December Children who we do not receive a deposit from we will assume do not wish to attend. Once the payments have been made and the deadline has passed, we can confirm the exact price – the more children who attend the cheaper it will be. We will be able to confirm the price to parent’s week commencing Monday 16th December 2024.

We appreciate things can change over time, however if your child leaves Hilltop or changes their mind we are only able to offer a refund if their space is re-booked and paid for by another child.

DEPOSITS MUST BE PAID BY Friday 06th December 2024

Unfortunately if we do not receive sufficient numbers for the trip to go ahead we will refund the deposits.

Once the price is confirmed we will notify parents and confirm the remaining payments. Parents are required to pay the fees in minimum instalments prior to the deadlines below. These minimum payments must be paid by the dates shown or we may withdraw your child’s space.

Please make payment online using Schoolgateway. Please understand that if the minimum payments are not made by these deadlines, your child will no longer be eligible to go on the residential trip and no refunds will be available.

If your child is entitled to free school meals we will automatically reduce the cost of the trip once the deposit is paid and the total price is confirmed. The deposit cost remains the same for all students. If you experience, any difficulty with payment please speak to the school office in confidence

We understand that some families do not wish their child to go on residential visits for reasons that relate to culture or particular individual circumstances. We would strongly encourage all children to take part in the residential as it is highly beneficial for their development. It is something they will really enjoy and have lasting memories of.

Please contact the office if you have any further questions.

Best wishes
